Fuzz Evil Played Their First Mesa Show at the Nile Theatre in Support of Rezn.

Updated: Aug 26

We made our way up to Mesa for the first time this last weekend in support of Rezn at the Nile Underground. Normally when we would play PHX we would always play in Tempe, or Scottsdale. I gotta say we have been missing out. The Nile is a beautiful theatre in the heart of downtown Mesa. I had such a good time at this show. Meet alot of new people we hope to see again. (Talking about you Lee and Myrka) and got to see some old friends we haven't seen in a while too. (DJ, Sean, Zack, Nico). The bands were killer! Phoenix locals Surf Through Death are so god damn good! We definitely will be syncing up with them for more shows throughout the state. Mute Duo was direct support for Rezn, and also Chicago Natives. The band consist of a Pedal Steel player and a drummer. The band is so talented creating such an amazing tapestry of psych and dreamy textures that I was legit getting lost in. Finally we get to Rezn. They Absolutely slap live. Since the show I can't stop listening to them. I gotta say my favorite record is their "Chaotic Divide" album. I had to pick it up at the merch booth on wax which they were gracious enough to autograph for me. The one cool thing about the Nile is it is a multifunction venue with multiple stages. The same night we played CupcakKe was on the mainstage. I caught a few songs from her. She was hilarious. Definitely a vibe. All in all such a successful night. Bisbee show this Sunday at the Quarry! See you guys this weekend!
